The Designed by Words Writers’ Workshop is a writer-led initiative devoted to enhancing writing skills and creativity. We aim to provide support and guidance to aspiring and emerging writers, especially adults who wish to write but did not have the opportunity during their younger years.
Founded in 2008, our inaugural writing class focused on “The World As An Articulate Subject: The Art of Feature Writing.” Veteran writer and author, Nestor Cuartero, was guest speaker in the “Writer’s Life” segment of the workshops held in November and December 2008.

Hi Paning, we might have an essay writing class early next year. As of now, our last quarter class is focused on fiction writing. We’re focused on short stories at the moment (we have a two-Saturday class on November 12 and 19 at the Ortigas Foundation Library).
